How to measure: Use primarily your waist measurement to determine the size(the measure around your belly button). To measure your waist, stand straight and put your feet together. Put the measuring tape comfortably around the fullest part of your waist and make sure the tape goes over your belly button. Also, make sure the tape is parallel to the floor.
If you are buying while still pregnant-during your 8th month of pregnancy or just prior to baby's birth, simply measure the part of your tummy that is the biggest all the way around your abdomen, which is usually at the belly button, and choose the corresponding band for your size by simply subtract 3 to 5 inches from your belly measurement. Select the corresponding band for that size so you have it ready to wear after your little one is born. If you are purchasing after you give birth, simply choose the corresponding band for belly size.
When you try the belt for the first time the ends should barely be touching. If you find the band to be extremely tight you can wear it for a few hours each day until you begin to shrink in to the size. You'll soon be wearing it around the clock!
IMPORTANT: If you are in between sizes choose the bigger size!
